Paris is the city of love, lights, and dreams, I have always dreamed of visiting there once in my life and that place always held a special place in my heart. I am so obsessed with the breathtaking architecture, stunning locations, and mouthwatering cuisine. Last summer, I got the opportunity to convert my dream into reality. I took the opportunity and that journey left me spellbound.
I would love to share my personal experience of exploring Paris, I will share the amazing places I have visited, the unforgettable memories I made.
Day 1: Awe-Struck Arrival
As I was about to enter my dream city, I was barely able to control my excited as the plane was about to touch down at Charles de Gaulle Airport. My first day was all about introducing myself to the new temperature, surroundings, and more, that experience of stepping onto the French soil for the very first time was unbelievable. On my first day I decided to visit he very popular landmark of all time – The Eiffel Tower. The feeling of staring up at the masterpiece was very dreamy, I felt thrilled and excited. The view was breathtaking, I felt like I m living the moment of lifetime.
Day 2: A Walk through History
On the second day of my dream trip, I dedicated my time in exploring the popular places in the city like The Louvre Museum, Palace of Versailles (a short train ride away from the city), Seine River, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Île de la Cité. I was amazed by seeing the thousand of art works in Louvre Museum, and the most popular painting of Mona Lisa was worth seeing. As soon as the day ended, the city became alive; I enjoyed the delicious meal at a sidewalk café and tasted local wine.
Day 3: Culinary Delights
On day 3 of my trip I decided to taste the spectacular cuisine of Paris. My first stop was a traditional bakery, where I got to taste the amazing flakiest croissants and most decadent pastries. Then, I explored a place for lunch named as ‘Charming bistro’, where I has a classic French Onion soup and a plate of escargot. At the end of day, I enjoyed romantic dinner at Michelin-starred restaurant, and the experience was beyond words. That was the evening of my dreams.
Day 4: Gardens of Serenity
On my fourth day I explored Gardens of Serenity. The tranquil Luxembourg Gardens were truly heaven on earth, where you can be in peace in the middle of busy city. I enjoyed exploring gardens and embraced the natural beauty.
I explored Musée de l’Orangerie in afternoon, and absolutely stunned with the art.
Day 5: Farewell, Paris
And the last day, on day 5 my dream trip was about to end. I was surrounded by the feeling of sadness. Paris was Upto the mark, and I got to witness everything I had ever dream of. I had fallen in love with the culture, cuisine, and charm of the city even harder. I spent my last day indulging in shopping. It was a wonderful experience.
Paris left a long lasting mark on my heart, I will never forget the memories I made over there. Everything about that city was stunning and memorable. I made the memories of lifetime at my dream destination. And, I could not wait for the day I would return to the City of Love. Paris, je te verrai bientôt.
