London is a big metropolis which is the perfect blend of culture, history, and modernity, and these things have always made me want to visit the city even more. Finally, I decided to explore this famous city, and I had a blast in that one week!

I am very excited to share my 6-day itinerary with you all. I will be sharing all the must-visit landmarks, dining spots, and a few valuable tips that will make your London trip more memorable.
Day 1: Arrival and First Impressions
After taking a flight off, I arrived in London and stepped into my hotel and it was near the very popular Big Ben. I took a stroll along the South Bank of the River Thames after settling in. Get to see the stunning view of Parliament House and the London Eye, which were sparkling at night. I had dinner at a nearby restaurant named Ramsay’s Street Pizza.

Day 2: Exploring Historical London
I started my Day 2 with The Tower of London and an iconic castle where the Crown Jewels are kept. Our tour guide took us into British History and monarchy. After that, I explored the Borough Market, where I had diverse culinary delights.

I explored St. Paul’s Cathedral in the afternoon and ascended to the top for sweeping views of London. At the end of the day, I took a walk along the Thames River and enjoyed the colorful street art.

Day 3: Art and Culture
I dedicated day 3 of my trip to the cultural side of London. I visited the British Museum and spent the major part of the morning admiring the Rosetta Stone and other artifacts from various cultures. For Lunch, I went to the stunning Bloomsbury neighborhood and enjoyed dinner at the historic Lamb’s Conduit Street.

I went to the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square in the afternoon, where I got the opportunity to admire stunning pieces of art by artists like Da Vinci and Van Gogh. After that, I took a stroll around Covent Garden which is popular for its street entertainers and boutique stores.

Day 4: Royal London
Experiencing the royal past of London is very important for any trip there. I took a tour of Buckingham Palace and took in the iconic British ritual of the Changing of the Guard.
After that, I went to St. James’s Park and spotted numerous bird species. In the afternoon, I visited Westminster Abbey, a stunning church with a deep historical past.

I reserved a table at a popular restaurant in the heart of London named The Ivy for dinner, and enjoyed a delicious British meal.

Day 5: Day Trip to Windsor
It was the day when I left central London for a day trip to Windsor Castle, the world’s largest and oldest inhabited castle. The stunning view left me in awe. After that, I explored the stunning town of Windsor.

I returned to London in the evening and spent the evening in Shoreditch which is popular for its nightlife and street art.

Day 6: Literary London
I was very excited to explore London’s literary heritage as I love reading. I went to The Charles Dickens Museum first, where I explored more things about life.
After that, I visited the British Library; there was a wide collection of books and manuscripts. In the evening, I watched a Shakespearean play at the Globe Theatre. As it was my last day in London, it was the perfect wrap-up of my trip.I chose a traditional British afternoon tea at The Ritz for my last meal.
